NATO Mid-Term deployment to Leuchars, Scotland

From 12 to 16 November, Squadron 3 flew NMT training missions over the beautiful landscape of Scotland. The squadron was hosted at RAF Leuchars, near the city of Dundee.

With two crews and a total of 64 detachment members, five missions with an average length of more than seven hours were flown under perfect conditions. RAF Leuchars was chosen to avoid long approach routes, to train the pilots and to relocate as many flight movements as possible to other air bases.
