The E-3A Component is the world's only integrated, multi-national flying unit,
providing rapid deployability, airborne surveillance, command, control and
communication for NATO operations. Fifteen of NATO's nations contribute to
the E-3A program and more than 3,000 military and civilian personnel call

NATO Aircraft transports humanitarian aid for Haiti

relief camp module from the Danish Emergency Management Agency (DEMA).
AWACS to support NATO maritime counter-terrorism operation
21-Jan-10 MONS, Belgium — Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS)
aircraft from the NATO Air Base in Geilenkirchen, Germany, will for the next two weeks support Operation
ACTIVE ENDEAVOUR (OAE), NATO’s maritime counter-terrorism operation in the Mediterranean.
